Aquamarine is calming, soothing, and cleansing, and inspires truth, trust and letting go. It is often called "Water of the Sea", because of its color. Folklore says the aquamarine will protect against gossip. It is an excellent stone to use for meditating. It emits a gentle and compassionate energy and has been used to calm the nerves.
